hey guys, i have to slightly agree with tomrayhall, in these ways: i myself work for a branch of sony entertainment. i just have a simple job, no ownership. i have heard my fair share of conversations about the ghostbusters 3 film around the offices. you guys are right, sony is in the process of buying out columbia/tristar, yet the columbia/tristar lot does still exist. i spend most of my working time at the columbia/tristar lot. i have heard the “rumors” of slimers new girl, and i may be able to get my hands on some sketches, i can keep you posted on that one. since the buyout the release dates on all films have been very slow, so there is no talk about releasing it 2004. if it was released after the buyout it would take at least 2005-06. note: i do know that bill murray has no contract with columbia/tristar or sony, i also know we at sony/columbia/tristar have contracts to do up to 6 ghostbusters movies, but if this one is made it will be the last in the trilogy. at the columbia/tristar lot there are 3 sound stages that are being heavily guarded and i have personally seen harold snooping around, although no body knows what is going on except the producers. ghostbusters 3 is undetermined but tomrayhall is not totally full of crap, i have heard the rumors and seen some of them first hand. i will keep you posted on any further information i retain. p.s. if tomrayhalls dad works at columbia/tristar, i will find him. i will get to the bottom of this.
