It seems to be about what I expected. A good, but not great game that's biggest appeal is that it's Ghostbusters.
It pretty much fell between the two extreme opinions - that it was going to suck or that it was going to be great. Which is to be expected.
I still plan on giving it a shot, but I do wonder if some people set the bar so high that they is the difficulty. I love Ghostbusters and worry about the experience being ruined by annoying difficulty that makes me put down the game and not pick it back up.
One item of note - I thought the game would be a bit longer than 5-8 hours.

Scott Sommer;144492That reminds me of this guy I used to work with. When Halo (the first one) came out, and EVERYONE was all over it, he and his GF would spend hours in multiplayer, until people started being pricks, and when somebody would get killed, they would stand there and wait for them to re-spawn, and then shoot/kill them again over, and over again. That's the main reason I hate multiplayer, because there are too many inconsiderate/immature people involved, to actually get any fun out of it (most of the time), I mean, yes it's fun when it's just you and your friends', but theres always going to be that one “completely, misserable a**hole” that has to show up and ruin it for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to try it out when I get the game, but most likely only once.(*peter)
In multiplayer it is okay because well it is not the story, but when you are trying to get to the next part of the story and some jerk keeps preventing you from doing so, then it gets complicated to the point of frustration.

That doesn't sound like Peck at all, despite being the actor.

After finally getting to look at the video, I personally think it is because he is in a small insulated booth instead of a sound stage

Dakera;146415Oh, yeah! forgot about that. So I guess I'll give it a chance, but that will be after I'm done “playing with myself” in single player mode.(*peter)
You do realise that this game is only co-op multiplayer, and there are LOADS of people including me who would be happy to play with you, and enjoy it like friends.
