Whenever someone brings up the age of the films and just how crazy it is that someone's making a current-gen game based on them, I always counter that with even older movies turned into games.
The Warriors (1979)
Scarface (1983)
Godfather 1&2 (1972, 1974)
People really have short term memories especially since Godfather 2 :The Game was just recently released. Real reason could be that they just don't like the GB films.
Funny thing is that this game is bringing a fresh story to the table, we're not playing through the narrative of Ghostbusters.

The game itself is above-average; not great, but certainly fun to play. Your rookie Buster isnt as nimble as he could be, but the controls rarely get in the way of the good times. More than anything else, Ghostbusters delivers as an experience made by fans, for fans; it is a worthy addition to the franchise and a welcome return to classic characters weve come to know and love.
