maybe simple is the better word the reviewer could have used.

In a game where the very game mechanics and controls can easily be overthought…simple game mechanics and simple control scheme is welcomed.

::edit::

Personally if they want to do something more complicated theen what they have I would wait till a sequel…ya know?

I happen to subscribe to Rodies original statement:

But I would add alter that to most not all current gen games

Fair enough, “all” was probably a bit strong. Although I've yet to come across a game this gen I couldn't beat, but I haven't exactly looked that hard for one either.

I have yet to find one I haven't been able to either, but I have seen some of the current gen that have been pretty difficult at times. Fallout 3 and the second Ninja Gaiden from 360 come to mind. Nothing thats impossible in difficulty by any stretch of the imagination but not push over as far as difficulty.

I know it´s kinda hard, but I wanna see some 10/10 for the game… I want people saying the same things they said about BioShock, the best game I ever played this last 2 years.

I LOVE Ghostbusters to death but i didnt expect a 9 at all. If u ask me i already give it a 10. But then again im not very familiar with that European reviewer site. Surely the gamers in here know that Gamespot and IGN wont be giving it a 9… i can only hope it gets a 7.8 - 8.2 from them.(*winston)

It's definitely gotta get a better review than most movie based games…. given how much talent and effort that was put in to create this game based of a movie franchise from the 80's..

Switching between the two beams would be annoying. Not difficult, just annoying. It doesn't make it easier because as we have seen even the guys who made the game have a slight difficulty capturing the Sargassi ghost even with the other three guys helping the rookie.

It's just there so there is one less thing you need to worry about. Game controls need to be easily accessible so that you don't have to think when you hit a button. Once you get used to the controls you don't need to constantly remember “push this button to switch.”

Like some games, you can change the way your weapon or equipment fires, but it is not necessary. I know some games you can make the automatic weapon semi-automatic if you wanted, but you don't have to.

I think one game that this gen has that gave me a lot of trouble was Resident Evil 5 on professional mode. Almost everything is a one shot kill against you.

As for the reviews, this game is doing better than I had hoped in the general public. I know it would have been awesome, but I didn't realize how popular it has gotten with the reuglar gamers.

More power to Terminal Reality. You guys deserve it, especially the bad rep you got with Bloodrayne which I loved that game.

They didnt get bad rep, they got mixed rep.

Not from my end as everyone I knew said the game sucked. Mixed Rep, bad rep….same difference….didn't exactly get good rep from the majority of the game community. Then Uwe Boll made the movie and it went downhill from there.

How come I like all the things everyone else hates? Okay maybe not Ghostbusters, but everything else.

I like Nickelback, Twilight (the books, not the movie), and a few other things, but everyone else hates it with a passion. I feel like a loner in this world.
