JamesCGamora;143894maybe simple is the better word the reviewer could have used.
in my mind there is a difference between less of a hassle and too easy.

I happen to subscribe to Rodies original statement:
But I would add alter that to most not all current gen games

Switching between the two beams would be annoying. Not difficult, just annoying. It doesn't make it easier because as we have seen even the guys who made the game have a slight difficulty capturing the Sargassi ghost even with the other three guys helping the rookie.
It's just there so there is one less thing you need to worry about. Game controls need to be easily accessible so that you don't have to think when you hit a button. Once you get used to the controls you don't need to constantly remember “push this button to switch.”
Like some games, you can change the way your weapon or equipment fires, but it is not necessary. I know some games you can make the automatic weapon semi-automatic if you wanted, but you don't have to.
I think one game that this gen has that gave me a lot of trouble was Resident Evil 5 on professional mode. Almost everything is a one shot kill against you.
As for the reviews, this game is doing better than I had hoped in the general public. I know it would have been awesome, but I didn't realize how popular it has gotten with the reuglar gamers.
More power to Terminal Reality. You guys deserve it, especially the bad rep you got with Bloodrayne which I loved that game.
