Reviving and updating Ghostbusters Doom

:O I know this is kinda old but this sounds too good to be true! Hey if there's enough people who are seriously interested about reviving/updating and getting this thing going again and maybe even eventually being able to play with fellow ghostheads online, I'd love to help in any minor capacity I can. If everybody can do a little bit of something. Maybe more midi music from movies scores etc? Let me know and I'd love to put some time and work into some stuff. This could be really big and would be great to have stuff to talk about on GB Doom again instead of just being the old game everybody has played by now Anybody up for something new? I think this could be great for the community.

Ghostbutsers DooM Midi Files

These are all the midid I had done for GBD2. Theye were given to me by Jason Frailey, oddly enough the only other person who did work for GBD2. He was a bit of an unsung hero… not mentioned much, but many things like the scoleri, vigo, terror dog, staypuft, slimer, the midi files… they all came from him. I've since lost touch with him however, unfortunately. Credit should go to him for these.

PS. Anybody know what the name of that song they play on the bridge is called, and where I can get it

It's part of the score by Elmer Bernstien. In the movie, you hear the entire part of the score.

Zack did a midi, but his site is down for now, so talk to him.

Man, that midi of the GB theme is excellent! Finally, after what seems like forever, we hear a new GB midi! It's real nice. I think it's the best GB theme midi now! If you ever talk to the guy again, Steve, send him my regards!

Ah Thanks SS! Always great to hear those as well as some I hadn't. I remember e-mailing Jason Frailey a LONG time ago to compliment him on the music for the game and see if I could maybe do something to help but never got any response. It'd be great to hear from him. Hopefully soon I can get the site up again with some new stuff from the movies I've been working on.

I think the slimeblower should be more of a spray and less of a shot.

There should be more busting parts.

Mr. Staypuft should be way bigger :s

I can't wait till' this is done. Please, please, finish it this time.

I heard of Jason Frailey a while ago, and he sounded pretty credible, but now I'm thoroughly impressed! He did the music for Gb Doom, hmmm…. that's amazing. For some time I assumed you had a hand in that, Zack! Cool stuff though.
Might I suggest an Ecto-1 driving sequence on the bridge with that same untitled “bridge song” playing while driving, that would be ultra cool.
