Agreed… the fact is that no matter how you spin it the current collectibles market won't command that kind of pricing, or the attention to land that high.
Sure, maybe you can demonstrate one or two lucky sales of these items in the last few months, but that doesn't take into account the other zillion deals out there.
If you get that much, then good job (seriously). But at this point, it just looks like you are a toy hoarder who thinks that the Ghostbusters video game release will net enough interest to make an over the top sale.
If you really want to sell those pieces, then just put them at open auction. In this economic environment it's the best way to determine the real value and land a real sale.
