Does it mean Vigo had some connection with the shandor Island? The river of slime appeared in the pictures of the painting.

Could it be possible that Shandor was pumping pink slime into the city as a way to assist Vigo?

Perhaps buying more time for Gozer to regain power?

Or Vigo only found the energy he needed in the river of slime to return, when in fact it was made for Shandor, or Vigo was ordered to take over the world until Shandor returns, Gozer ignoring Shandor intentions; wins or not against the ghostbusters, the river of slime would fly in the atmosphere to surround and corrupt our dimension, giving Shandor everything he needs to come back. Or Gozer knew about Shandor intentions from the beginning, took again the ridiculous StayPuft form to find the woman connected to Shandor, and let himself explode to watch Shandor fail, winning all the space at the end.

Hm, I hadn't checked this thread in a while, didn't realize other people already pointed this out. Anywho, I finally started to make progress in the Wii version again and noticed the painting. I came back here to post about it but I was obviously beaten to it by a long shot. I took a picture, so here's that anyway…

I don't have this in the PS2 version, I'm sure. This painting is inspired by the one on the PS3 (and 360 I guess). They say the PS2 is the Wii version with some missing stuff; looks like there one right here.
