A Tango & Cash remake must be around the corner as well.

Oh please god, let this be true!

Well, this isn't any official confirmation, but we may be expecting CGI like this;

This image was posted on a message board, where a few of the members may work for MGM studios.

Also, this same image was used in a promotional flyer to promote merchaindising opportunities. So it's possbile this is what the CGI may look like.

Makes me think that Robocop himself will be completely CG. If that does end up being the case, I wonder if they will try and get Peter Weller to do his voice

Well they said very early it might be completely CGI, but nothing is confirmed. But, if it is completely CGI, and will look like that, I wouldn't mind it because that looks pretty dam awsome, and barely looks like it's done by CGI.

I doubt they would get Weller to voice RoboCop though, assuming it is gonna be CGI, since they rarely get the originals to do it. And from what I've heard, Peter Weller is trying to stay as far away from RoboCop as possbile. In fact, he doesn't even like talking about it. (*egon)

I'd prefer it not to be CGI. Even if it looks like that. Some CGI in the film - thats cool, characters made completely out of CGI - eh too George Lucas for me.

You can't even tell that's CGI though, which is a plus, considering now a days it's horribly noticable. But we don't know for sure what they're planning yet, so it could end up with something like how Iorn Man was done.

I can't tell that is CGI, but when you put it in a totally CGI environment or put it in a real environment and make it move you will be able too.

Technology just isn't that far…yet.

I have heard likewise, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Heck if I were in the process of making the movie, I would at least offer it to him at the very least a cameo. I mean heck. In my mind the man made the character

Still, at least RoboCop is coming back.

Well that's the thing. He doesn't even like talking about. You could offer him a the part (which is doubtful will happen as this is a remake) but the thing is he just doesn't like talking about the character.

Yes he made the character. If he didn't do RoboCop you probably wouldn't know he is, and he shows his appreciation for it by saying I have no intrest in talking about it. (*egon) I mean jeez, you'd think he'd be more apprecitive.
