RoboCop remake in 2010

This makes me wonder if they are going to use archive voice overs from the orginal film. remember, a person's voice can change over time with age.

I doubt that, since a remake usually involves recasting the actor to play the characters. But I've heard Weller recently on a few history documentaries he hosted, and he sounds pretty much the same. It's weird though, his voice actually does sound robotic.

A sequel is better in my opinion than a remake. Hopefully they will Retcon 3 out of existance.

I'm not holding my breath on that until I get some confirmation from MGM. But I have to wounder, why it's it going to set in Detroit (if this is a sequel) cause according to the article it's going to be L.A. which doesn't make sense since RoboCop has always been set in Detroit. Also, the present day? We go from, The Near Future, to The Present Day?

He's gone back in time to protect a child. A child who would eventually grow up and lay the foundations for the creation of Robocop…essentially his father from a group of terrorist whom have sent multiple ED 209’s back kill him

3 is indeed forgettable except for the upgrades he received: that big arm cannon and the jet pack were always awesome and a staple of my 5" collecting years.

Wrong movie.

I didn't like RoboCop 3, but I agree, the upgrades he got were pretty cool.
