Rumor: Ghostbusters 3 may be going along without bill murray

i cant remember the name of the site but it stated that GB3 might be going into production with out Bill Murray and they might find someone to replace him, mark hamill was said to be one of the possible choices for murray's replacement. can you beleve it? :-@ :-@ :-@ :-@ (*egon)

I look on all the major upcoming movie sites and theres nothing. Do a history search if you cant remember the link. Cause i dont think this is true.

hmmm. Mark hammil as peter venkman. think about it. pretty stupid and farfetched dont you think ? Hammil doesnt even act in movies anymore anyway, and he doesnt even have the sly wit that Venkman has.
..dont get me wrong i like Mark Hammil, but i dont think he's a Peter Venkman, unless Venkman knows the force and carries a light saber instead of a proton pack, then maybe.

You've obviously never seen anything he's voice acted on. He's superb as Batman: TAS's Joker.

While I can't see him playing a live action Peter Venkman, an animated one? That's a different story.

i have, he was also in the Spidey cartoon as the Goblins and other people along with other cartoons, and yeah he is a wonderful voice actor, but he's not Bill Murray.

Ah well, anyway, I doubt there's any weight to the rumour posted at the start of this topic, Bill's been defiant against doing GBIII for so long, I doubt he'd give in now, unless he has the right incentive.

Hmmm…

Either way, I can't see Mark Hamill as a replacement for Bill, some new ‘buster, then yes, I can, but Bill created quite the role to work up to for anyone else who wants/needs to play the ’mouth' of the Ghostbusters.
