well come on cheesebuster…whether the movie would suck totall donkey balls or not i would still be aknowledged that it is part of the legacy of Ghostbusters…GB 3 would, yes, have to reach out to a younger crowd but if im not mistaken GB II did the same and it still turned out great…but your right thunderbirds did suck haha :-)

and worst of all, Busted sang the theme!!!

Oh come on now, in a world full of Justin Bimboflake and Dizzy Rascal wannabes, you have to give Busted credit for being able to play instruments, and the song wasn't that bad, it did pretty well in the British chart.

I suppose you're right yeah, though just because it did well in the British charts doesn't win me over…have you seen what does well in the charts lately??

Also Crossing the streams I suppose you're right GB II did breach out and was successful …maybe I should just stop moaning :-) Afterall Ghostbusters is in another world from Thunderbirds (^_^) (*peter)

Oh and PS. Justin Bimboflake? …Haha I like (^_^) (*peter)

I wanna see the originals. It doesn't matter if you're older & put on weight. What really matters is that you have a nuclear accelerator strapped to your back! I can almost hear Ray saying to teenager mouthing off: “While you were spitting up baby food, I was saving your sorry ass from a deceased psychotic Carpathian magician!” (*ray)

I don't want to turn this into an argument about how rubbish Busted are, seeing as there is no limit to their rubbishness… But I'm so tempted.

So did the Cheeky Girls. I'd use the nails to block my ears, but then I wouldn't have anything to blind my eyes.

Nahh man, I'm sorry, but from a business standpoint, it does matter. Don't get me wrong, if it were me writing it, I'd have equal share or at least important roles for the originals, and I'm sure that's how it'd end up, but other than the fact that it'll never be made, if it were made it'd be targeted to younger audiences…

this past weekend i was watching evil dead, evil dead 2 and army of darkness and it hit me Bruce Campbell. Through out the movie he had funny one liners and reminded me of Bill and i thought he would be a great Replacement. just give me some feed back on what you think….BRuce was also in spiderman 2 not a big part he was the door man at the play. (*_*)

i know that guy. he is pretty funny. im seen him in other things besides spidey two, and he is funny. but he seems to have a sort of mean undertone, whereas bill's was pure sarcasm. but in the scheme of things, he is probably one of the best replacements should they feel the need to replace bill. his only letdown may be the lack of fan base and popularity, which would be needed to get the project rolling.

I like Bruce Campbell too. He recently did a Sci-Channel original movie “Alien Apocalypse”. Though it had an extremely “B” movie feel. He was terrific in it. I could see him as a Ghostbuster, but not as Pete Venkman.

In all honesty, everyone over the internet loves him, but when it came down to it I don't think he has the ability or star power to replace someone like Bill Murray. Maybe as ‘a’ replacement, but not Bill's…

Going into production without Bill Murray? I'm sorry but if I am not mistaken, wasen't that the problem to begin with? The movie can't be made without him. He owns part of the rights to the franchise.
