As for the deal with Danny Elfman, I don't see why Ramis and Aykroyd would contact him now. It's a little late. He expressed interest in the project a long time ago.
But let's entertain the notion that they did talk with Elfman (who would be my choice for GB3's composer because he's awesome). Just because Elfman was consulted for the project doesn't mean GB3 has been developed any further. Aykroyd and Ramis maybe only wanted his opinion or something. Composers usually aren't contracted until the film has been in production for a long time. Don't get your hopes up, guys. I just don't want you to be disappointed.
And Ectoslick, how does an assitant on Frasier find anything out about GB3? He must have heard it through the grapevine, right? Because Fraiser is produced at Paramount, not Sony. It's not like he overheard two executives talking about it. Can you provide any info on that?
