Just like the header says. Need to sell this because life has forced the issue. Asking $1700+shipping (weighs 45 pounds) but willing to entertain offers. No trades. This costume does not include a ghost trap or goggles.
I got this from saber_holder and here is his description. This costume is a work of art, I wish I could take credit for it.
This pack started its life as a pack from Jeremy Moore. He sold me an incomplete pack, and I had tons of work ahead of me. I ended up only keeping the top vacuum form shell, and the spacer. I went ahead and replaced the cyclotron by cutting it out of the spacer.
I cut, sanded, filed, and worked on this thing for hours and hours to get nice, sharp details out of it. The plastic he used was incredibly durable, but also too thick to capture good detail, and added way too much webbing in the ribs and other spots. I re-shaped every single rib down to 90* angles like they should be. I replaced the cyclotron and n-filter with a resin combo I got on the RPF junkyard. I think Volguus was the original maker of it, but I'm not sure. I also included the following resin parts from Charles Walker (prop fan): Bumper, booster frame/cap, alkons, and crank knob. The HGA is a resin cast made from Volguus. I made the ion arm. It is resin with an outer styrene body.
Also, what this pack has that you don't see very often is the amount of REAL found parts on it. Has the following found parts that are NOT resin casts:
Both Clippard valves
brass clippard elbows and barbs
LEGRIS ELBOWS
BANJO TIPS
linrose lights (on gun)
All 3 ion arm resistors
Full clippard hosing
ALICE frame
The metal pieces on this pack are all machined. The shock mount and ion arm block/rod was done by a friend of mine who is a machine shop student, the gun hook kit was made by SG1STAR, and the gun knobs were all machined too. Everything is done to Stefan's accurate prints. The motherboard is 1/8th“ aluminum that was hand cut and filed to shape (took forever), and its bolted onto the ALICE frame the exact same way the originals were (with 1” spacers). Also has beautifully machine parts by Dr. Slurpee including the trigger on the gun tip, gun tip rings, and rectangular ribbon cable clamp.
The gun was hand made by our own GB_DAN, and it is a truly beautiful piece. It is made from MDF, and has the awesome machined pieces on it. The clear acrylic gun tip has the beveled edge like the real one. Also includes resin cast grips, and full working switches.
To top it off, this pack has FULL HYPERDYNE ELECTRONICS
ThatÂs right, has completely working Cyclotron, power cell, and gun lights, and also full sound. The soundboard plays the following sounds:
Start-up
looped humming
gun firing 1
gun firing 2
part of score 1 (song playing when Ray is telling Louis he is a “most
fortunate individual” near the end after they destroy Stay-Puft)
part of score 2 (think when you first see the Shandor building)
Ray Parker Jr. Ghostbusters theme (full song)
All the sounds are controlled by a push-button. The gun firing sounds can be played in unison with the 2 LEDs in the gun tip flickering. The gun has an LED bargraph on it that changes sequence when firing also. The sounds play through an 8" sub woofer, and has controllable volume. Can go VERY loud.
You can view the full details on the electronics at Hyperdyne's site here:

The Power cell lights are the LED version, and the gun bargraph is yellow.
I'd like to make a point about this pack and how durable it is. This pack will definitely take a beating! Which working on the upper shell, I stood on it with 1 foot, and it easily supported my weight. I weigh about 230 lbs. It would be VERY hard to severely damage this. Some of the shell areas are even re-enforced with fiberglass.
Boots are size 10 ½ and the flight suit is size XL.
Here is a link to his pictures, not mine. Remember, no ghost trap.
