San Diego Comic-Con 2010 GB Meetup

Are any ghostheads here attending the San Diego Comic-Con this coming July? We've already started a meetup topic over on GBfans and we need to get one going over here. The 4 day passes have long been sold out and now the individual day passes are going fast as well. Saturday passes may not last through today. Several busters from California, the Tampa Bay Busters, and members of the Arizona Ghostbusters are definitely attending. We'd love to set a day and time for all the busters attending to meetup and possibly hit a nearby restaurant. Most likely this will be Thursday or Friday since Saturday is so busy and hectic.

So far it's looking to be like the meetup will be on Thursday. More details will come as we get closer to the con.

Meh. Won't make it to the comicon… I'm already going to LA to go to the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in May.

I won't make it, but would anyone be nice enough to volunteer to pick me up the GB stuff there (i.e. Mattel exclusives, other GB SDCC exclusive stuff…)

PM me if you wouldn't mind helping a fellow fan out. I'd obviously be fine with giving the money, definitely at least some of it, ahead of time.

Just bumping this back up. The meetup is definitely happening on Thursday. I am still determining time and location. The goal will be to meet-up at a designated location at the con and march to a near-by restaurant. The mid-afternoon is starting to look like the best time for everyone.

We have about 20 members from GBfans listed as attending currently.

So far we have narrowed down the GB meetup to be at 2pm on Thursday of the con. We are still determining the exact meeting location (most likely to be the Mattel booth's GB figure area) and we will eat at either Joe's Crab Shack or Old Spaghetti Factory. I'll post final details soon.
