So at this point I think we need to finalize plans before people start their journeys to the con. As mentioned on GBFans, the screen-used Ecto will be at the Hot Wheels booth to promote the exclusive and seems like a great place to start a GB gathering.

Thursday of SDCC 2pm Ecto-1 at Hot Wheels/Mattel booth. After that we can head outside and down the street to Old Spaghetti Factory.

I'd like to mix the groups up at the meal so we all have a chance to talk shop with members not on our respective teams.

San Diego is a great city. I am a fourth year at UCSD, but have lived in San Diego my whole life. The most afforable place to live AND be near campus would probably be either in the Mira Mesa or Clairemont area. Those areas have very little traffic when coming/going to campus. Escondido is probably slightly more affordable, however there is a lot of traffic coming/going.

I'd like to thank everyone that made it to the meet-up. It was great to meet many of you in person finally and talk shop. I certainly had no idea there would be so little room around the Ecto, which prevented us from getting a group shot in front of it. Instead we headed to the main staircase out front for our photo. It was a great year for busters at the con and hopefully next year will be even greater.

And that Ghostbusters 2 “Ecto-1” licence plate is almost as terribly made as the Ghostbusters “Ecto-1” plate… honestly, whoever they put in charge of that project did the basic amount of research, and put little effort into the design… for crying out loud, the “commercial” isn't even located centrally!

Yeah that was the only GB exclusive I didn't go after. I believe it was $35.00.

so amazing! you guys are so lucky! I might hafta go to con next year.

And the plate..I mean plastic ECTO-1 does look awful
