Save Bug

Does anyone have good suggestions as to how to Ghostbusters on the PS3 Slim as I geting sick and tired o f the annoying save bug. I can't play the game because of it and was wondering is there meant to be another patch to fix it?

Have you tried the unplugging technique? I hear it works for the PS3. It is a simple 3 part process. You unplug your PS3, pick it up, and toss it into the closest garbage bin. If you do the detailed process, you would go out and by an xbox 360. Problem solved.

I haven't experienced the save bug myself, its just important to remember that you need to be at a checkpoint in order to save.

Every time I want to save, I exit to the Main Menu, and turn the PS3 off from there. Never had a problem.

Ignore the 360 fanboys.

Is it better to play Ghostbustes on the old 60GB PS3 or the new PS3 Slim as it wasn working fine on the 60GB and when I upgarded to the Slim I have been having the annoying saving problem ever since, does the new firmware upadte of 3.01 do anything to solve it?

I can't speak to that, as I still operate on a “fat” PS3.

I'm not sure how many people will be able to help you either, as its unlikely that a lot of people have switched their PS3's to be able to know whether or not this issue comes from that.

Ever since the PS3 patch, I haven't gotten the save bug, but something to try that always worked for me: on the screen before the main menu, just leave it there for about 30 seconds or so before you hit X. I have a 40 gig PS3, if that somehow makes a difference.

when i had the ps3 version i never came across this problem, does it do it on the pal one?

o oSo would it be wise to try Ghostbustes back on the 60GB to see if it saves ok?
