Saw Bill Murray Tonight

I live downtown Toronto and took a walk over to one of the red carpet event galas for the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), this being for one of George Clooney's movies.

Well, outta nowhere Bill Murray walks up behind us through the crowd in the park/street (for some reason he didn't come along the red carpet). I'm assuming since being in town for his film, to join his pal George for his film screening. I dont really get star struck or anything, but it was definitely cool to see him pop up unexpectedly like that. He was very friendly to everyone for a sudden little drop-in like that. And considering the type of people/fans who like to chase stars down were after him, he was cool. I thought he looked great actually, looked more like Ghostbustin' Peter than the older gray looking Bill we have seen in recent years.

I'm gonna head down there to the gala tomorrow night for the screening of his movie GET LOW, to see if I can get him to sign my NECA Stay Puft!!!

Wish I could get him to autograph my copy of Lost in Translation for me.

Awesome experience… I wish I could meet Bill Murray in person… I´d love to take me a pic with him and get my Making GB book signed (it already has the Ernie Hudson´s).

I´m glad he smiled and signed your Stay Puft figure, I did read years ago about he going mad when somebody asked him to sign any GB stuff, saying “I´ve made more movies than Ghostbusters”.

I love Bill
