Script or Finished Movie?

Which do you like better…the GB1 final shooting script or the actual finished GB1 movie? I go with the movie…although some of the sequences from the script that never even got shot would've been cool.

The finished movie. Usually scenes that weren't shot in later parts of a script mean either they didn't make sense, or they weren't even really necessary.

I kinda would rather have a mix of them both myself

MOVIE. Dialogue-wise the movie is far superior. Going script-to-screen EXACTLY would have not made the classic we see today. Bill Murray helped a lot on that and the whole concept for using wands for the proton pack isn't as good as the gun. Also shooting the doors opposed to the dogs made more sense and had much more tension and courage.

I hate the wands too. Did you see the storyboard with the wands?! Yuck.
But one scene I would've liked to have seen in the movie is one where the two homeless guys are walking around after the marshmallow has fallen and one of them says something like, “Now why would someone leave a giant marshmallow here?”
The other: “There might be a big cup of hot chocolate around here somewhere.”
“That would be a good reason.”
