If the comic does well what is the possiblity of a Cartoon series or Anything of that matter?

It's my opinion that there should be no worry about these comics selling well, because this is some publication of high quality artwork, and it sounds to me that the story lines are going to be just fine!

There's a TON of GB fans around that aren't posting at these boards, so I think it will do just fine, and I'm sure we'll see all 4 issues!

I just can't WAIT til then!!

and then i could frame them and put them on my wall like a true fan boy :-)

So i was wondering if this is the idea?

Also i dig the guy doing the art on the book, but ya know dan does some great spooky stuff i was wondering if he might get pulled for a side story or another arc or something.. He did such a great job on the packs and i like what he did with Venkman and winston.

In March we (the Mid-South Cartoonists Association, I'm VP of it) will be participating in the Mid-South Con (a comic book convention).

Will the comics feature villians from the old RGB days like Sam Hein?

I wouldnt think so, I mean the comic is based after the first movie an the villians from the RGB wernt shown in the movie at that time. But I mean most of the cool villins were from the Cartoon series so its possiable that they might have some of them in the comic book. They took the ECU from the Cartoons an used in the comic so why not use ghosts from the Cartoons right lol. Its a 50/50 draw im thinkin an guessin. Its a damn good question tho!

There is no plan in the near future for us to use cartoon based ghosts and vilains. That does'nt mean we won't ever use them, it just means we have other ghosts and vilains that will be in our stories.

Now one thing important. GB is NOT the ghost-of-the-week type of comic, so in essence we don't or won't use a large cast of ghosts to being with.

GB is about the paranormal, catching ghosts is part of what they do…..understanding the phenomenas, doing research, testing theories, etc……. then they are normal people who will be trying to live normal lives, have ups and downs, life crisis, etc……THAT is what GB will be about…….normal people put in extraordinary situations……with that dry sense of Venkman style humor too After all we need a wee bit of fun too.

When I first heard of the news of the Ghostbusters coming back in comic book form, I was ecstatic to say the least. Thanks for taking a risk with this, its something that we've all been waiting for.
When I saw the artwork and how different it was to the original cartoons I was a bit sceptical at first, (not a lot though, its the GBs after all), but reading through these pages I am in no doubt this will be the best thing to come out of this year, hell, even decade.
Anyways,
1) Being from England, will I have the opportunity to buy the comic here?
2) I'll tell my comic book store about it, but would there be a mail order if it can't be sold in my area?
3) Not sure if you're allowed to say yet, but what is the projected price for the comic?

well since the comic looks and takes in more from the movies than the cartoons i was wondering sebastien

1) would the comic incorporate the fame that the gbs were getting during the montage of the first movie, (being on the cover of time, talked about on larry king, etc)

2) are you guys still doing winston's first times as a ghostbuster?
like a flash back scene would be cool if you guys decided to not have a full thing dedicated to winston's first time actually seeing a ghost, trapping it, etc

3) please tell me louis tully will NOT pick up a proton pack in this

4)if i dont have a comic book store near me, would the order form still work at like waldenbooks or borders? i havent checked yet

5) is there any place i can just order from online and have the comics mailed out to me?

R : Their fame has diminished. It's not as null as in GB2, but not as high as in that scene.

R : We're most definitely doing it. It's a 12 page story that will be released later this year, it's called The Zeddemore Factor. It's already done, we're just waiting for the appropriate time to release it.

R : I don't think so, it depends if they order comics usually through Diamond Comics Distributors. You can ask them. Download the PDF file we have on our website, bring it to them and see what they do.

R : We won't have a online subscription system, however we will direct you to a proven serious and profesionnal online comic store that will do so.
