Just to set the record straight, Slime Square was cool, all were welcome. However I found out that it does take 1 bad apple on a wormy power trip, to ruin a whole batch.

I recently signed up for Second Life, mostly through boredom until June 19th comes round to see if there was still much of a GB presence in SL.

Turns out there isn't. However I still ended up staying and got myself a working Proton Pack with PKE ghost hunting mini game from XStreet here

A few people seemed to notice me with the gear when I was checking out a Doctor Who island and have ended up getting the Proton Packs themselves. For some reason they seem to think I can get a group going in SL based around Ghostbusters despite only recently joining.

Regardless of that I said I would see about getting word around and see what happens.

If you sill happen to be in SL or you came across this post after is seems SL Ghostbusters is no more and want to meet up with fellow Ghost Heads, keep an eye out for my SL avatar, Doctor Rae.

I have created a group called The Real SL Ghostbusters (Not in any way meant to diss the original SL Ghostbusters, only called the group this because it is a name relevant in the GB universe and was available), however there is only 2 of us in the group with a few more people that I have met in SL ready to sign up. If there is a more active group going then might as well merge. If not then its open for people to join and see what comes about.

Those that asked me to try and get something together have express a desire to have to Role Play going on in SL so if you are looking for that, cool. I myself might get involved with RP in some fashion but I am happy to just to be part of an active community around Ghostbusters in general and hopefully specifically around the upcoming game on all consoles.

The dream is that there is a large enough community to justify getting a plot of land to recreate GBHQ to act as a hub for the community.
