Seeking Complete Screen Accurate Costume

I'm looking for screen accurate reproductions (with light and sound) of a proton pack, trap, goggles, jumpsuit, etc. I'm aware of the cost and I am looking for quality. Normally I would enjoy crafting my own, but I just don't have the time. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

GBfans.com has a lot of prop builders and guys who make and sell parts and props. Its definitely a good place to look.

Sorry for the delayed response. I thought I set my account to notify me immediately of responses. I am still interested and I am researching. I may want to put together additional costumes in the future, after I purchase mine. What does it cost when constructing gear of this quality on your own?

It depends on how accurate you want it to be.
you can make a fairly decent costume with pack and everything it could cost a couple hundred. if you want to go all out it can be more than $1500 and up

Making a master wood base is fairly cheap if you have the right tools. The material to make the mold costs the most. Thats also a couple of hundred.

Hope this helps
I think another comment from other member may help you further.

When I build my own it will be sick. I'm pretty handy as well as crafty, and an anal perfectionist. Plus I tend to go all out and be over the top on projects. I'm just to busy this year to learn all I need to know, let alone fabricate something… especially by Halloween, a holiday I take very seriously.

I'm not looking to buy a collector's item, just a screen accurate costume. A fully integrated soundboard would be cool, as would any “lighting effects” that don't compromise accuracy. My own builds would have such features, but they're not a prerequisite for a purchase now. I'd even consider a “rental” if there are any Midwesterners that could hook me up. Also, I'm a size large.

Are there any people that produce complete costumes for sale, or any screen accurate costume components? I would think that there is a market, even if it's only seasonal. The market seems slim in my research. Do I have to wait for individual sellers to put their gear up on eBay?

That's the alternative if you're not in the position to build one yourself, unfortunately.
