Ghostbusters Terror Dog (1984)

This is truly a once in a life time offer. I am posting this item to this site to give a fellow Ghosthead first chance to acquire it.

Item information
This is one of seven original stop motion Terror Dog puppets made during the production of Ghostbusters. This puppet was not used for animation sequences it has a wire armature not a stop motion armature. It was pulled from the molds at the same time as the filming puppets.

This item is 24 years old. It is still soft and flexible and can be posed. Please do not confuse this for one of the Japanese kits that were sold in the 1980’s. It is huge compared to that kit. It measures: 18” length x 10.5” width x 11” height.

This Terror Dog puppet has been in my collection for years. I acquired it directly from an employee of Boss Films who worked on Ghostbusters. It has never been reproduced or remolded which is what makes it rare. The images are watermarked because this puppet has not been photographed or posted to the web until now. At this time I believe only one of the other six Terror Dogs has been publicly sold. It was sold about five years ago.

I'll discuss price off line with anyone who is interested. I have additional images of the Terror Dog which I will share with buyer. If you are in or around Los Angeles I can make arrangements to show the puppet as well.

*I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to have that as the pinnacle of my GB Collection, I'm pretty sure you'd probably be looking for like $500 AT LEAST, and I'm not in that ballpark right now …
