It was okay but not awsome. It would have been even better if it had started from the very beginning again showing superman leave krypton, reach earch and grow up etc

I agree. I was kind of disapointed in it. Hopefully the new one will be better (it's rumorued that General Zod will return) .

I really don't think that they should have remade Superman. We already have the Christopher Reeve movies and I don't think there's anything more they can do with the francise. It's been done to death. There's too many comic book hero movies being released to close to one another.

Superman has been around for a LONG time. They remake the franchise every few decades by changing and moderizing the story. Comic book and movie wise. They're not just gonna sit around and let the old stuff be the money maker, as a lot of people have seen it, and had it's run in making money when it first came out.

There's tons they could still do with Superman if they just realize that he has opponents other than Lex Luthor and General Zod; if the movies treated Batman the way they treat Superman, the Joker or the Penguin would have been in every single movie. Doomsday, Brainiac, Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, the Parasite, Darkseid, Mordru if you stretch your definition of “Superman Villain”… Take one or two of those with the right script, and it could be epic.

I've never been a fan of Superman, but a live action version of Superman: Doomsday would rock my socks.

It'd be long movie though, and they probably would take away most of the different Superman's conecept. The animated film wasn't bad though, but I wish they would of gone into more depth.
