Honestly, I enjoyed that for two reasons:
- One of my favorite lead singers, Lee Ving of FEAR, plays Mr. Body
- Mutiple ways to end a movie… every week? That's just brilliant marketing.

I was also being serious about this remake. I guess I just had a jerkish way of going about it.

As for my “selling point” about Escape from New York, I guess I was just glad to see that some older actors can actually say “No” when their old franchises are brought up. I know, I know, “but what about that funny balding guy in that movie where they catch the spirits that float around? He wouldn't do the sequel when he was probably a little too old for the role but we still called for his return.”

That is different at least in that it would have been a sequel and not a remake. Sequels should have the principle cast and remakes should have some fresh faces. Since Russell already did Escape from NY the first time around, I think someone else should get a crack at it.

Let us not forget the remakes. I LOVE me some remakes:

Clue: Forget movies about theme park rides, we need more movies about board games.

How bout Mousetrap: The Movie or Candyland with Quentin Tarantino directing? He collects board games.

I'm really excited about “X-Files 2” as well.

“Highlander” also needs another GOOD sequal. Oh wait, there hasn't been a good sequal, they all suck! Well it needs, "a" good sequal. Preferably continuing the tv series storyline…

There's actually a new Highlanded movie coming out Tuesday I believe it went straight to DVD. I think it stars the guy from the T.V. series, but I couldn't tell. The commercial just talked about now everyone wll know why there can be only one and shows a ton of different people fighting. Hopefully the movie won't suck, it didn't look bad, but not great, which bums me. I loved the Highlander movies, untll they got too old, I hate Mario Van Peebles, lol. Didn't know if ya knew that info or not so I just thought I'd post it for ya since your a fellow Highlander fan.

By the way, have you ever recieved the Highlander catalog, they got some cool stuff in there. You should get it if you never have, high quality replicas.

Okay, granted that this flick is 20 years old, but it left you asking questions, begging for more. re-make it, make a sequel or make a very late 2nd installment would ya?

That's when happens when a sequal has a different title. Confuses people.

I´d love to see a sequel of “Loaded Weapon 1” (Emilio Estevez and Samuel L. Jackson), hilarious movie. As far as I know, a sequel was pretended after finish that… but never made. Sad.

Sadly if they greenlit it now, it'd be awful… quality comedy is a rare thing in today's world.

I know… but old fans would love it.

Time ago, there were rumours about a “The Naked Gun 4”, but Lt. Frank Debrin would be a very old cop… Leslie Nielsen´s in the 80s now… I love his movies… one of my fave comedians ever.

Eddie Murphy's been talking about doing “Beverly Hills Cops 4”. I wouldn't mind seeing another one, I'm just not sure how they can continue the story.
