After a similar thread on another forum I thought it would be nice to see what you have in your collections. Also since I had already photo'd and uploaded my collection already it was a lot easier to do, lol.

It would be nice to see some rare items that some people may have.

This is the Laserdisc Special Edition of Ghostbusters with some extras that never made it on the the DVD or Blu-Ray's, Front Cover / Centre / Back Cover.

Here you have a disc size comparison between a Blu-Ray and a Laserdisc.

As You can see it comes on 2 discs over 4 sides (double sided).

Here are some game versions I have of Ghostbusters.

Sega Master System.

Sega Mega Drive.

Commodore 64.

Atari 2600.

Amstrad 464.

Sinclair Spectrum.

Here are some Records I have aquired over the years.

The Album.

12" Glow in the Dark Picture Disc.

7" Limited Edition Pop-Up Sleeve.

7" Single.

7" Single.

9" Picture Disc.

My original copy of Elmer Bernstein's Ghostbusters Score on CD, simply amazing work of genius.

My Blu-Ray film and game.

Vinz, Zuul & Gozer

Marshmellow Man

Here we have the must have piece for any fan and that is the amazing definitive book “Making Ghostbusters” by Don Shay. This book has everything you never knew about Ghostbusters, plus loads of pictures never seen anywhere else ever.

Here are some other books and magazines I have also collected along the way.

Now the following magazine I remember buying at the cinema in 1984 when I went to watch Ghostbusters. It opened out in to a huge poster that I hung on my wall as a kid, unfortunately it got very damaged over the years. So I was quite happy when I came accross one on eBay a few years ago, this one I keep safely stored away.

Finally here are some 8“ x 10” pictures and lobby cards I have collected over the years.

Here are some more 12" vinyl records, first is a Searching For The Spirit remix, followed by an Extended Remix version.

Next I have the USA Special Edition version of Ghostbusters & the standard Ghostbusters 2 on DVD

This is the PSP version of Ghostbusters the movie on a UMD disc

Finally I have 2 different version of the Ghostbusters soundtrack, one which is newer and has extra tracks that were always missing in the older version. The other is the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack.

Ghostbusters II album on 12" vinyl.

I almost forgot I had the 12“ single of ”On Our Own" by Bobby Brown from the Ghostbusters II soundtrack.

Great collection batman, I do love that mega drive version of the Ghostbusters game! You've got some very interesting items, and a great set up!

I've not got any up to date pictures at the moment, but wanted to contribute something to the topic so will include these from August 2010 for now:

The only real ommisions/additions are the RGB mattel figures, the GBII set, the Joy Ride Ecto, a Street Machines Ecto, my rather poorly done EGB figure customs, the UK RGB and EGB DVD's, the PS3 game and of course the movies themselves. I'm more into the figure/collectables side really, although even that's lacking due to funds.

I'll add some more recent pictures as soon as possible.

That's a nice collection you got there flameboy2, I love how it is nicely displayed in that cabinet. One day when I have more room I would love to display my collection like that in a glass cabinet, I bet it is a lot easier on the dusting as well, lol.

I did actually buy a Sega Master System to play that Ghostbusters game as it is one of my favourites, the rest I play on emulators.
I thought it would be a shame if these games disapeared in to oblivion so I bought them to keep as an archive, I think they all came with instructions as well.

That's the main advantage really, the dust protection haha! Although the space restriction can be a bit of a pain as there is no room for a display or poses as you have with your figures which I would love to do. They just have to line up now on the single shelf. I would like to get a second cabinet to move some of the non GB items as that section of my collection seemes to be expanding at the moment but again, it's just finding the spare cash to buy these things.

I was only this morning looking into the new sega systems that were released and contemplated getting one to play the actual cartridge games again. Ghostbusters would be a must if I ever get round to it, I still play it regularly through other means.

I do still have all of my original RGB figures and playsets to, but there not really part of my collection as they are in storage after being very well played with all those years ago.

Being a total Ghosthead back in the 80's it always bugged me that the game Ghostbusters never came out on my BBC B micro computer and had to resort going around to friends houses to play it on there Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad 464. I guess I got away with it the first dozen times but I think there patients started to go after that, lol.

There are some good videos on YouTube of people finishing the Ghostbusters game on the Sega Megadrive on the hardest mode, they are really good.

I also love AVGN's videos regarding the Ghostbusters game, however I love the game unlike how it annoys James.

I've never achieved finishing the Megadrive version, even on easy! I've tried so many times, but the final level just destroys me, especially as I usually turn up there on the verge of game over anyway! I only ever really got into the Megadrive version and the European NES release out of the classic games. Yes, the AVGN video of the Ghostbusters games was great and introduced me to some i'd never seen or played before which was great.

I've got a few up to date pictures, hopefully they aren't too large:

Joy Ride Ecto 1, Ectoplasm energey drink and a tin of the Slimer sweets

A little cramped, but a shot of my current GB figure “display”. NECA uniform GB's, NECA RGB's, Walter Peck and CU, NECA Gozer and Slimer, Street Machines Ecto Buster, Slimed and Unslimed “Who ya gonna' call” Weenicons, Stay Puft glow moneybank

Front shot of the GB figure shelf

Attempt at Custom EGB's, atleast of Eduado and Kylie. Ego and Roland seemed to big of a job.

Ecto 1 Canvas print

That's pretty much it except for games and film releases.
