Slavitza Jovan will make voice work for GHOSTBUSTERS The Videogame… is that true? I haven´t read anything about it before… and… if I remember well, Slavitza´s voice was re-recorder for the movie, am I right? What voice could she do for the game??

That's probably someone posting incorrect info thinking they know what they're talking about.

Slavitza was the actual person playing Gozer, but she never played the voice. So there would be no point to having her voice Gozer in the game.

Pretty much this, IMDB is not a great source until the movie/game has been released since Skanker pretty much summed it up, anyone can edit it and usually IMDB doesn't check to see if the source is right.

I believe Ivan Reitman was responsible for Zuul, but a woman named Paddi Edwards did the voice of Gozer.

EDIT: Found this in an old thread here on GBN, its a quote from Making Ghostbusters… Ivan did some test work for it, but Paddi Edwards' voice was used.

“Due to the actress' Slavic accent, the voice of Gozer was dubbed by Paddi Edwards.”

“We tried for a long time to use the actress' real voice; but because of her accent, I was afraid it might come off as being funny. After that we went through about six or seven voices. I did one myself but it wasn't very good. I tried a traditional ‘voice of God’ approach, but that was boring. I tried an effeminate male voice which was okay on some of the lines, but really sounded silly on others. Finally I decided on a very low Exorcist-type female voice which- although it had obviously been used before- still worked out the best.”

But is there some form of truth in it? Will she be returning for an appearance as one of Gozer's forms? That'd be cool.

Although, being lead character artist, I assume that skanker would know about that one, so I'm guessing not.

You are forgetting 2 things:

In a different thread, he said that he somehow prevented himself from glimpsing spoilers (an impressive feat indeed) so he may not even know himself. He even said above that beside the main cast he wasn't sure who was doing what voice

and even if he did do you think he would risk his job and let the cat out of the bag?
