But is there some form of truth in it? Will she be returning for an appearance as one of Gozer's forms? That'd be cool.

Although, being lead character artist, I assume that skanker would know about that one, so I'm guessing not.

………………

Its a video game.

Slavitza's likeness appearing in the game does not equate Slavitza appearing in the game.

In order for Slavitza to be part of the game, she would have to be lending her voice. Just having her likeness appear would not result in a credit as if it were a movie or show, etc.

But if you meant that maybe she's lending her voice to a different form of Gozer, I would highly doubt that, given the fact that a major issue with why she didn't voice Gozer originally was that her accent was too thick and that it didn't fit well… but who knows, maybe her accent isn't that bad after all these years.

I know imdb.com is edited by common users… but it was a fact that let me thinking… maybe she´s not using her voice, maybe she´s on the game, lending her likenesses (like Bill Murray and the others)… I dunno… time will tell.

In a different thread, he said that he somehow prevented himself from glimpsing spoilers (an impressive feat indeed) so he may not even know himself.

I know every character in the game. I don't necessarily know their names, roles, or history. I know each level the characters go in. Outside of the main cast, I don't know what voice actors have been hired.

I managed to stay away from the actual storyline as well. I know the ending but the events leading up to it are still cloudy to me.

It's the best I could do after working on it as long as I have.

Still…that is an amazing feat in itself considering you worked on the game for as long as you have.

the voice of gozer was Ivan Reitman

I heard he also did Slimer. Is that true?

He did Zuul and Slimer, but not Gozer.

I don't see what was not to understand about my statement. I meant that if she appeared, it would be as a form for Gozer (ergo, appearing in likeness only), in which case, Skanker would know, being the lead character artist and all. But as Kingpin said, Skanker wouldn't spill the beans if this were true (theoretically).

I know about the accent and all that. No need for the condescending attitude, Venkman. I've been around this fandom long enough to know trivial little things like the fact that this is a video game (and not a movie! Imagine that!), and that she didn't voice Gozer.

It's not rocket science. I was just musing about whether or not Slavitza might actually be set to appear in the game, therefore lending her (former) likeness as a form of Gozer, or maybe something else in a cameo.

Paddi Edwards died in 1999. I think Gozer will appear in a new (maybe male) form with a new voice. Wasn't there a Gene Wilder rumor?

Wasn't meaning to be condescending. I apologize. It was moreso meant to be funny.

The point I was trying to make was that I don't think appearing in a video game in likeness only would mean that it would end up as a credit for someone's resume. Granted, I know its IMDB and all that, I was just saying, if her likeness appears but not her voice… since its a video game, and that doesn't actually require any work, unlike the movie where she actually was on set and stuff, I don't know if it results in a credit except maybe a “Special Thanks”.
