So the update is out, but I didn't get the patch.

What happened to the patch?

I installed it.
Played GB. Nothing seemed different.

We there to be any visual representation that shows the patch worked? Who's the first to catch any glitched ghosts?

theling - did you actually get an update for the GB game specifically when you put it in, or did you just get the xbox update? Last I heard was that while the xbox update has been released, the GB patch is still in waiting.

Exactly, yesterday there were an update for the console, to recieve the Kinect configurations.

Oh, okay… well then maybe nothing different.

The Facebook page for the patch is an interesting read… it's all heresay but one guy seems to think the patch would be activated any day now… but I do remember reading that the patch “would be included in the fall update.” But it seems, as Ghostbusters213 says, this update was only for the firmware.

Server-side, I have no idea how this works on Microsoft's end. Additionally, I get the impression that Terminal Reality has their hands full with new games. I wish GB:TVG did experience point weekends and multiplayer promotional events like Red Dead or War for Cybertron. It would be great to all go online and have a bustin' party.

I guess we'll keep our eye out for Polar Slimer! He is the last ghost to be caught, correct?

Yeah, it's not going to be IN the fall update. It just had to wait until AFTER the fall update. It's going to be whenever Atari puts it up after the big Kinect launch. (Though the patch has nothing to do with Kinect)

Skankerzero, in all seriousness, I appreciate you squelching any rumors that the update has to do with Kinect. I could see people seeing that the patch was held until after the Fall update and running with that. You confirmation that it is unrelated to Kinect will cut down on unnecessary discussion and explanation.

Though - stop me if I'm wrong, but I think I read somewhere that the reason the patch had to wait until after the update was the size of the patch itself. Can you confirm that? (It's just random curiosity on my part.)
