So the 360 patch is finally coming soon

Oh. Sounds like that's been the situation since June. Back then, they were waiting on Microsoft…and their Dashboard Update. Now, they're just waiting on Microsoft…to look at the patch…which has been “awaiting distribution” since June. Do we wait till December or January to call these “announcements” BS?

Dude, it's for a couple glitchy achievements and some minor little things that really didn't hinder the gameplay that badly…

If, for whatever reason, Microsoft doesn't release it I'm just happy they made an awesome Ghostbusters game for this generation of consoles.

I remember a time when there were no patches, no online gameplay, and no achievements. And everyone was happy with that.

You kids today don't appreciate gaming.

Not to mention, I give you guys updates as I hear them.

I certainly don't have to do this. I could have dropped this place as soon as I got your guys's money.

Every update I've provided has been true. We send it off, it gets kicked back to us because it failed the size limit. We had to wait for the Kinect update and resubmit. It's how this all works.

I can live without the patch. The game is above and beyond my expectations… here almost 1.5 years past release I still find time to play it several times a week. It's a masterpiece for GB fans.

Humor us, so why ARE you doing this? Why can't we be told what the patch will address? Why can't we know if there will be DLC? Why is it that a YEAR AND A HALF LATER - we still don't know?

Does everyone else realize you are on a forum dedicated to a Ghostbusters 360 patch? If you don't want it - why are you here? Don't presume that just because I would like the $65 game that I bought to be fixed - and have DLC like was advertised - that I'm a “kid” who doesn't appreciate gaming.

This kind of support (which is none) for this kind of game (awesome) doesn't make any sense. Yes something is better than nothing - but just achievements that we already paid for? Bogus. What about the corrupt game saves? Online match freezes? Invisible enemies online? Seriously, no one wants these things fixed? Or are you saying you don't care - so not to piss off the one person who can “make things happen”?

Don't misunderstand me as ungrateful, but enough is enough already. I know a run-around when I see it - and I would like to know when we will have answers.

Greedo - most of your questions would need to be answered by Atari. Skanker works for Terminal Reality. That Atari decided to not give support to this game stinks (and believe me, I've waxed poetic on this several times) but I don't think you can blame TR for it. (Heck we've even seen multiplayer maps that were made but never released. If Atari had cared, I'll bet those would have come out.)

That's funny - because on the Atari forums, there's a guy named InfoNinja who is “keeping people in the loop concerning the patch status” and when asked what exactly the patch will fix or when it'll come out he says the “ball is in the court with the Developer and the console online service.” That's funny.

I'm also not on any Ghostbuster project. Any information I pass on to you guys I get from break room discussion.

As of right now, we tested the patch again and submitted it a couple weeks ago, so that's as much as I know.

I'm not asking you to kiss my ass or anything, just understand that it's coming and it sucks that it's late, but at least it's coming. Just relax and calm down.

I'm not entitled to give you guys any information. As a matter of fact, I'm not supposed to. All information regarding the game and whatnot is supposed to go through the publisher and marketing.
I do what I do because I believe in letting people know what I know. I've always done that for every game I've worked on. I still talk to the Bloodrayne community when anything comes up, and that game is 6 years old.
If Atari, TRI, Sony, or Microsoft wanted to, they could just tell me to stop posting, and I would have to.
I'm not an official representative of any of those companies.
I'm also far from being a person who can ‘make things happen’.

This is just taking an unfortunate amount of time. If you would have seen how many hours we've spent testing the patch after we shipped, you would be surprised. Things just happen.

I believe you know full-well what exactly will be in the patch. I also believe you know whether or not there will be DLC. I ALSO believe you know why the consumer has been kept in the dark regarding ALL of these issues.

Yeah, better late than never to get a patch. Yup, it sucks that it's late. What sucks even more is all the BS we get just asking the above questions.
