I believe you know full-well what exactly will be in the patch. I also believe you know whether or not there will be DLC. I ALSO believe you know why the consumer has been kept in the dark regarding ALL of these issues.

Yeah, better late than never to get a patch. Yup, it sucks that it's late. What sucks even more is all the BS we get just asking the above questions.

I'm a character artist, I deal with characters. The patch stuff is beyond me. You won't get the answers you want from me because I quite frankly don't know the answers.

I've been in Star Wars land since about two weeks after GB shipped.

I really appreciate you keeping us updated with this situation Skanky, and I know many people here understand your situation… any word you can drop over here is gold to us.

No worries. Believe me, I don't expect any answers from you. All you can do is repeat, reword or clarify “official announcements”. I don't believe for a moment that you would risk your job to tell a forum what it going on behind the “announcements”.

I appreciate you taking the time to quell rumors or explain semantics. I loved the game - but I am utterly (and obviously) dissappointed at the lack of support and answers to the major questions regarding this game. It's been an absolutely frustrating experience trying to find out any information regarding any DLC (yes or no)…or this upcoming patch (aside from it being done and waiting on Microsoft).

Questions you know people want answered and will ignore after this post…because you CAN'T answer these questions.

You say it isn't a huge problem he can't answer you, yet it's quite clear it does bother you, and considerably. Frankly, you're being quite rude.

Instead of venting that anger at Jesse, who isn't even responsible for the release of the patch, the best way to vent it would be to direct your annoyance and anger at Atari. They likely wouldn't give you an answer, but at least then your indignation would be justified… Jesse has been trying to help in the best way he can with the information he's privvy to, when really he doesn't have any reason to beyond wishing to keep the fans in the loop in some form.

And don't get me wrong, I am a big GB fan even before working on the game. I was looking forward to this game just as much as a lot of your guys here. I even went so far as to distance myself from story elements during development because I wanted to be surprised. Not an easy thing to do when you're a lead and working on it for 3 years.

I'm pretty sure multiplayer DLC is is dead as Threewave is essentially out of business, but that's just me looking at the context clues that are scattered around the internet. But that's all speculation on my part too. /shrug

I'm frustrated with Terminal Reality/Atari for keeping us all in the dark for TOO LONG. Sure a patch is coming soon - but what will it fix? Just the online achievements? What about DLC? Well, we can't know that.

Terminal and Atari both won't tell us…and it's obvious to me now, Skanker knows - but he can't talk.

I don't blame him - but this whole situation is a bunch of BS.

I can honestly tell you that outside of supposedly fixing the multiplayer achievements, I don't know what it fixes. All I know is it's based on the PS3 patch.

As I said before, i make characters, I don't sit in programmer meetings discussing these types of things.

I already told you my thoughts on what's up with DLC. To my knowledge, the downloadable suits and stuff qualified as DLC. Cheap? Sure, I think so, but outside of multiplayer, the story mode isn't really made for DLC.

Okay, flight suit qualified as DLC. Threewave is dead - so no multiplayer DLC.

Wow - totally lame, but I'll take it. What an utter dissappointment. I had such high hopes for this game. It was great - you did a fantastic job. It's an absolute shame that there wasn't any upkeep…ESPECIALLY to the die-hard fans. You know what? In the end, I blame Sony.

well don't jump to any conclusions yet either. I'm not giving any ‘official answers’. For all I know they went and added a free puppy with this patch.
