(*egon) Alright, Alright, Alright.
I've done some research (I read a crap-load of articles) and this is ALL I could find as far as what the PS3 patch contained:
1. It squashed multiple bugs. (couldn't find what exactly)
2. Fixed game freezes.
3. Audio/subtitle sync problems.
4. Repaired the Trophies/Achievements/whatever.
And this stuff here doesn't apply to the 360:
5. It sorted out localization issues.
6. Bumped up the resolution.
NOW - it appears that the PS3 patch would fix up our GB game very, very nicely. It addresses all those issues that keep it from being a really finished game.
I'd say the odds are good that this is going to be the patch that we are going to get. Why?
For one, the patch worked! A "really finished game“ patch exists…and it works! It didn't have any problems…well, there was two. The resolution thing and the PS3 trophies locking up - BUT as I said, I happen to know the ”locking out" issue has been addressed in our upcoming patch.
We may not be getting DLC, but it is nice thinking there's a VERY good chance we'll at least have a solid, sturdy Ghostbusters game.
I just wish I knew how big the PS3 patch was - and compare it to the size limit of the 360 to confirm my suspicions. I can't find that information anywhere…little help? Anyone?
