whats the significance of the yellow tube , i noticed in the first movie most of the time there not even hooked up. When they do the running scene venkmans begins to unravel then almost fall off. At the end winstons is looped and not connected. And this happens multiple times in the movie


And lastly in the final credits they spell ZEDDEMORE- ZEDDMORE with no E , this is how its spelled on the minimates but is wrong. It clearly shows it with an E on his suit. Whats up wid dat:-)

i think thats how his name got spelt wrong in the cartoon aswell

EDIT: Having just watched Ghostbusters I've noticed that the lights on Ray's cyclotron don't spin after they've crossed the streams and everyone is covered in marshmallow! Still love Ghostbusters, which is definitely a good sign!

Actually, I believe that that's precisely what they're for. The GBs go up against extreme terrors and unknowns on a regular basis, accidents happen in moments of extreme terror, and being zipped up in a flight suit doesn't make things any easier.

It's been speculated that the GBs also wear pulse monitors on their wrists, as there is a photo that seems to show the GB's wearing matching wrist watches… that resemble a model of pulse monitor (I believe Casio) that showed up in another movie (one of the “Alien” movies I think).

Then there are the “LifeGard II”s… all equipment that points to the more serious side of ghostbusting.

A bigger mystery is why the charcoal colored uniforms don't have the tube.

Ah, thank you KP. I lost track of the original thread / info on the subject, from Dewback Wing, some time ago.(*peter)

There are some things I noticed, In the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, apparently they spelled Ray's name wrong too. It's spelled Stanz in the cartoon, not Stantz.

Also, In one of the driving scenes in the First films, one of Ecto 1's headlights does not work, and in the second film, the CB radio aerial comes unhooked from the roofrack a couple of times, when it goes round corners.
