Sony, culture, and GB

Maybe I'm wrong but that idea came to my mind:

In Asia, the culture is very close to spirituality.

I was wondering, because it's a company from Asia, if Sony maybe see in GB something that hit their values. That can explain why they neglects to do a third chapter.

Like I said, maybe I'm wrong.

Hey Asia did “the grudge” no? I mean, the original movie.
Maybe they see that kind of soul vengence a “positive” concept close to their values; “if you kill someone, be certain to pay the price in return”

So GB, because they “stop” the evolution of a soul, by holding them in a containment unit, is maybe considered a “negative” exemple to their personal values. Same for the hideous faces the movie can give to a “soul”, the living essence of someone who was alive.

I know GB is a movie with good sense of humour, made to entertain, but it can also keep a part of the meaning of life. Maybe it's something too serious for that “simple american movie” for them.

The concept of GB3 is supposed to be more “hardcore”, more “violent”, more “serious”, maybe that goes against their personnal values.

What do you think?

Way too deep. WAY too deep. They're a movie production studio, among other things. They simply don't want to make the movie. It has nothing to do with their personal beliefs.

I know about business obviously a lot more than you. A big film studio has a board who decides on stuff, not 1 individual guy. You wanna sit here and try and tell me that EVERY SINGLE guy on the board has an issue with hell and their personal beliefs stop them from making a lot of money on this movie? Besides the fact that you already agreed with me, so shut you yap and stop tryin to look like a tough guy. *Insert poor use of emoticon here*.
