Ok now i am confused, my friend just started working for sony in NYC and I asked her to ask around inside the company and to find out who is publishing the game and just when the hell it is coming out and she spoke with the interactive media division aka games, and they are actually telling her the game is set to release for ps3 and 360 late nov 08 but they said that could mean late nov early december…..also no mension of the wii or ps2 versions..also the guy she spoke with is a big ghostbusters fan and she swears he is serious and knows of other ghostbusters stuff coming out in the same time frame like dvds and props and all.


so i do not know whats going on but this is from sony! I cant imagine them not knowing whats going on with thier own owned IP.if it is coming out still they better get cracking on promotional material.. and out computers still list it as cancelled so.. WTF is going on….

I asked her to talk to them more about it.. but she is new there i dont want to get her in trouble for asking questions outside her field.

so take this news as you will… no arguing please..

This is not really news, it's a rumor. Take it with a grain of salt. They may be telling your friend a tentative date, I would not get too excited till we see a press release or announcement from Sony.

Well i just read today in game informer it will be relesed in 2009 and publisher is listed as TBA so still nothing worth while this reminds me of when gb3 was first mentioned and so many rumors came about but nothing happened Im taking this with a grain of salt and I dont want to sound like a jerk but If your friend is right i owe you a beer ( as long as you are 21 )

I've heard Atari from one Gamestop and EA in a limited partnership with Vivendi Games from another GS.

So who knows, they say it wont be long.
