I'm beginning to sell some of my Real Ghostbusters toys in their original boxes on eBay. Mint and opened. I'll also be selling some of my other Ghostbusters merchandise/collectibles. I realize “advertising” here may not necessarily be the target audience. Possibly Mint in Box? I'm sorry, that's not a legitimate term, lol. Something's either Mint In Box or its not.

I read your description, and it states that the item was resealed by the previous owner. Since the box has been opened in the past, you rebreaking that seal doesn't devalue it. You're not selling it as Mint in Mint Box. You should probably open it so that you can describe it accurately. If you don't, and someone buys it, and it's not Mint In Box, you are liable. That new seal that the old owner put on it means absolutely nothing. You have no reason not to break that seal.

The Banshee Bomber didn't sell the first time around and I re-listed it. Link is in my previous post. It's more new, complete in box. When I wrote possibly mint I didn't feel I needed to write out a description here as the details are in the auction.

I'm not 100% sure the previous seller did open the box. I know that seller sells used toys and usually provides pictures of the toy/content plus the boxes. Hence my original hurting the value sentence I had in the original description. I suppose I was being cautious about not wanting to open it in case. As as collector who doesn't like to open boxes (and 11 months ago, it was the only one of these I owned) I haven't open it. I never had a request through eBay to open it anyway when it was listed the first time.

When it sells and if their is an issue with the toy or contents I'll work with the buyer. If I bought something and their was a problem, I'd want the seller to make things right. I would do no less.
