For what I believe is the 2nd week in a row now, a robber whom has been dubbed by the local media as the Spiderman Bandit due to him wearing a Spiderman mask over his head has been on a spree systematically hitting hotels and gas stations after usually business hours.

For the last few weeks now I have been hearing much information about him (considering I work for a hotel) but have not really taken much of it to heart. For the most part this sad individual has been robbing away in another part of town far away from where I was. Lastnight that all changed.
Lastnight after I had left for the night, around 2 in the morning Spiderman hit the gas station next door to this hotel. This was not the only place he hit in the area but it was close enough to make me think…

Needless to say, until Spidey is caught, those days that I work 3rd shift…I will be very vigilant on my watches not only for my own safety…but the safety of my guests.

After the latest of robberies, this brings the total count up to nine I believe of places he has hit. Luckly as of yet, no one has gotten hurt.

I'm really not sure what to make of this. The irony that it's a guy wearing a Spider-man, which a character that's a hero, and robs stores in it? Oy, I wounder what Stan Lee would say. :@

Mr. Lee would be ashamed, i'm sure. It's a mad world when one of the greatest heroes is robing ppl. sounds like the plot of a Spider-man cartoon i once saw. hopfuly, the cops will catch him, and beat him up good.

Trust me, your not the only who didn't know what to make of it when he started his little spree…

If J Jonah Jamison was a real person, he'd be loving this and splashing it on page 1 every day. “SEE? I TOLD YOU SPIDER-MAN WAS A MENACE!!!”

Must resist urge to reccomend filling a can of bug spray with mace…..

Ironiclly, I was looking at one of the websites for the local news where people can post commments about the stories posted. All of them concerning the Spiderman Bandit are JJJ jokes or Spiderman references. Someone even asked if JJJ worked for the station as the whole thing was “Slander, pure slander” and that it must be “Mysterio in disguise”

I was watching the news at work moments ago and apparently he hit the same gas station AGAIN. The very same gas station he hit a day or 2 ago. Seriously. If you were going on a spree of robberies would you hit the same place twice?
