Squaresoft Is Back With Nintendo!

IGNCube reported last night that the best RPG company around, Squaresoft, has come back to Nintendo ground! An all-new Final Fantasy game, which will be exclusive to GameCube, will come out in Japan by year's end.

For those who don't know, Square left being a 3rd party company for Nintendo when they decided to make games for PlayStation, and have been bitter enemies since.

too little too late…

so when will they release the old games ff games for the cube. the fact of the matter is that nintendo has fallen behind and it will take them a while to catch up, if they do anyway.

I don't think it's necessary for them to port over the previous FF games. They're starting “fresh” with Final Fantasy Unlimited.

on the contrary, i think they should port over games for the gamers who were loyal to nintendo and didn't or couldn't buy the ps2
