Thye car scanners very in size from anywhere let say 3 in to 8 in it depends where you go and what you want . they cost about 30-50 bucks and can be found in different colors.

These used to be recommended long ago.. but I believe they are only red, and don't flash in the right pattern.

I dont have any pics But they do have them in blue and in the pattern that is used in the movie my next door neighbor has it.
