actually the route i was goin with subnames was what kong said. we make up our own. i think its fair to say DITCH ANYTHING RELATING TO RANK. i dont give a flip about karma points and voting for how cool people are. leads to too many problems and loosers like samjack and lifekillsme can gain points to up rank? hell no. no.

Damn your on a roll PC. I second that. Although AJs Idea sounds cool in concept, I dont think itd work to well.

If we have subnames, why not let each person make their own subname?

that isnt that bad of an idea…but then to do that would get a little…hard for the admins to give us and such..wouldnt it? i mean i am on this harry potter roleplay board (dont ask) where the admins do just that…give us our own subnames..well…i seem to have contradicted myself..i say yes to the making of own..it will also help make it more of a community like we were trying to do

If we bring rank back it'd result in a bunch of idiot posts and complaining. It just wouldn't help anything. I suppose it is easier to control things here, but it would still be a pain. There are rank names at Hype! boards that people can create themselves after a certain amount of posts, but I just don't see the difference any of it would make…

Well we have our subnames back, which I quite enjoy much like watching Dr. Venkman on de television. And I also agree that we stay away from rank, period. All rank does it cause problems.

no, we are talkign about subnames. the subnames are the things under the screen names. what you are talking about is just a name changing feature…which would become really sloppy in a site like this…
