Television Advert to the Game

It was to promote Ghostbusters 2 on video. It was a phone game where you have to pick the correct choice by pressing 1,2 or 3 to save the day. It's a good marketing idea but I think it should be a free phone number if they choose to do it for the game.

They also did this for Ghostbusers 1, it was just a voice message from Ray and I think Venkman talking about how they couldn't come to the phone cuz they were out busting ghosts… something like that.

they should just use the commercial from GB1, with the three of them standing in front of the fire house, but have it animated from the game.

Except of course you mean the 4 of them. They'd have to add Winston into the commercial. No more nonsense with him not being in the advertisements for GB stuff.

Here's my idea.
The Ghostbusters (Dan, Bill, Harold, and Ernie) are in the recording booth.
Recording Engineer: That's great guys. We're done.
The Ghostbusters take off their headphones.
Dan: Well, that wasn't a charm now was it?
Bill: Nope.
Ernie: Lunch?
The Ghostbusters nod and file out of the room.
Cafeteria
They stand in line. Gozer is serving potatoes.
Dan: May I have more potatoes?
Gozer: Are you a god?
Dan: N…
Ernie nudges him.
Dan: Umm…yes.
Gozer puts more potatoes on Dan's tray.
The Ghostbusters are sitting at a table. A news reporter is interviewing Harold.
Reporter: Mr. Ramis, what are your hobbies?
Harold: I write, direct, act, and collect funcus.
Ghostbusters logo pops up.
Ernie: Tell them about the twinkee.
News Reporter: What about the twinkee?

I don't think that really works as an advert. (*peter)

And the line was “that wasn't such a chore now, was it?”

I thought that was amusing up until the twinkie bit. That seems a bit out of place there.

As for the TV ad from the moives but in 3D. Hell yea. They better make one like that with Winston in it.

Sorry, I kinda wrote that out a little too fast.
Here's my new one.
Film studio
The guys are dressed in their jump suits and armed with proton packs. Ivan Reitman is directing.
Reitman: Ready guys?
Guys: yep.
Reitman: Action.
Ramis: The place is filling with ghosts every second.
Ankoyd: If we don't something now, New York will be overloaded with ghosts.
Hudson: And I just got season tickets to the Mets.
Murray: Well let's…(pauses and fiddles around with his proton pack)
Murray: Uh…my proton thrower thingy isn't lighting.
Reitman: Cut. Hang on guys.
The guys stand around, waiting.
Reitman: Umm… we're going to go ahead with the scene. We'll add the lights in post.
Murray: All right.
Reitman: Okay. Action!
Bill: We'll let's get up there and bust some…
The hose connecting the thrower to the Dan's pack breaks apart.
Reitman: Cut!
Films stops.
Later scene
Stage Hand: Scene 13B, Reel 1
The guys are standing in a stairwell.
Reitman: Action!
The guys run down the stairs.
Hudson: Well we aren't going up them this time.
Ankroyd: We got 10 minutes left to close the gates.
Murray: Maybe this isn't a bad thing. New York could use a makeover.
The trap hanging on Ramis' pack comes loose and falls to the floor causing Hudson to trip on it. Hudson knocks over Murray who in turn knocks over Ramis and Ankroyd. The guys go tumbling down the stairs, landing on their backs. They all moan in pain.
Reitman: This isn't going so well. Maybe we should just make a game.
Ankroyd: I second that.
Murray: Me too.
Ghostbusters logo pops up on the screen.
Murray: This is why I've been holding out on a third movie all these years.
Fade out

Better… but I can't really see them doing anything like that.

Well, they wanna do the game as some kind of interactive third motion picture. Maybe they'll do trailers for the silver screens?…

Let me dream!
