The cover looks almost the same as the Evolution dvd cover from the same director.

This has the Ghostbusters logo on a blue slime background.

Despite the grainy look of the blu-ray version, it seems like the resolution makes it easier to pick up on the little details. For example, It's only since seeing the film on blu-ray that I noticed that the name plate on the mayor's desk reads “Be Not Afraid”

Has anyone else noticed this… I can't find anything else about it on the forum

So what's going with Ghostbusters 2 on Blu?

I have nearly 50 movies on blu ray, and I have to say that this is by far the worst transfer I have seen on any of them, the grain is terrible. I have close encounters of the third kind on blu, that movie was made in 77 and it looks 10 times better than Ghostbusters does. They need to release another blu ray that cleans it up more.
It pains me to say it because Ghostbusters is my favorite movie of all time, a big part of me wants to pretend it isn't that bad, and part of me wants to pretend it isnt there at all to justify my purchase. Sadly, truth be told it is that bad.
