I just went to the 9:30am showing after I got off work. This has to be the best Batman movie…ever…period. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was spot on perfect. The rest of the cast's performance was really good as well, and Aaron Eckhart was great as Harvey Dent/Two Face. The Dark Knight is arguably one of the best films of the year.

Just saw it last night. Four out of four stars!

I think Aaron Eckhart did as good a job as – maybe even better than – Heath Ledger. I thought Harvey Dent's “story arc” in the movie was more interesting than the Joker (but of course, I thought the Joker was fantastic). It's like they took Harvey's story right out of the comics. But I'll say no more…

I thought the fight scenes in this movie, and Batman's interaction with other people (the Joker, Harvey Dent, Gordon), was better in this than in any other Batman movie.

Great movie. I'll see it at least three more times, I bet. For anyone who hasn't seen it, in my mind the best stuff is absolutely not in the trailers.

Yeah I doubt Ledger will get the Oscar, it's all this internet buzz man. His performance was great, but not Oscar Great. He though sorta remind me of the cold blooded killer from No Country For Old Men, however Ledger's Character talked a lot more and I wish they would have shown more motivation behind Ledger's character. Still said and done, the films still deserves 4 out of 4 stars.

GB Freak
I wish they would have shown more motivation behind Ledger's character.

I was reading a review in the paper which said that not giving the Joker a motivation was actually a plus. See, the character really doesn't have a grand plan for what he does…he just does it.
