For all those people who have questions, comments, and suggestions about my Ghostbusters RPG for the PC (Which will be free for all, as to not infringe on rights), post them here. I'll be happy to take all of your FAQs, and suggestions, or even some offers for help.

Note to everyone:

Help is welcome for the game. I am an excellent artist, but I suck bad when it comes to computer art. I'm looking for sound files, chip sets, face sets, and such. Anyone who wants in on the project should email me.

For anyone who actually enters this post, I need a computer artist to build “chipsets” for me. Any takers?

Chip Sets?

As in the electronic circuits?

No, but I'll explain. A “Chipset” is a picture file of all of the little tiles that make up a map on a videogame. I need someone to work on chipsets for me, as I'm having a bugger of a time with scripting…which means developing carpal tunnel from plinking away at this keyboard.

Once I get some of those chipsets in, I can get working on at LEAST a playable demo. I can use a scanner for monster sets and animation sets and stuff.

the music I have so far is ripped from various movies and videogames, because I hate listening to midi music, and love awesome sound. there are no original music selections, but most of the sound effects files are custom made.
All stuff is borderline CD quality, so this game may be a hefty download.

And to everyone, though the sound is TOP-NOTCH….graphics aren't. Please don't expect “Sony playstation”….expect more along the lines of “Super Nintendo, or Genesis.”

I must wonder, though, If I took orders for people who want CD copies, and charge them no more than shipping, and the price for the CD itself (i.e.: non-profit) I wonder if I would be infringing on copyrights? I don't want to risk it without knowing the facts first.

I wouldn't think so, it's only shipping and cd cost, I would doubt that it would infringe on any kind of copyright.

I hope so. It would be alot easier for people's comps if they just had a CD.

Any takers for comp. artists? I can start a demo I can have done by the endo of this month if I get some help.

Any offers to help with the game? So far, all I have is Master Spider. He's done very well so far.
The only thing left that needs to be done is animate the battle sequences. they are dirt poor right now, and I wish to change that.

The first playable demo will be about 10-15 minutes long.It sounds good, it plays good….it just doesn't LOOK good, and I plan to change that!
