Not getting into the debate, but still making that sly remark at the end.

That isn't really a good analogy. I would've put it like this:

Say you and your friend, walk into a bar (any retail store) to get a beer (a 360). You buy it from the bartender and it's lovely and cool. as it happens the place allows free refills (this counts as the period of time you play, because you don't pay every time you start the console up) which you happily take advantage of.

One day, however, the drinks get horrible and warm because the cooler has broken down, and so nwo you've got to wait several weeks for them to get it fixed and sent back to you.

Not perfect as the beer/bar analogy is rather restrictive, but I think that one's a little more accurate then the bartender slapping you across the face.

Please don't let this become a 360/PS3 console argument.
Yes, that is better.(*peter)

People have their reasons, like I said I won't buy one cause it doesn't have BC, and I personally think the Blu-Ray in it is a waste, but thats just me.

i'll probably get a ps3 when some more games come out on it, or they have an online system that rivals xbox live.

To tell you the truth, IMHO, BC is REALLY over rated, my 40gb PS3 is BC for PS 1 games, and I tried to play NHL 99, but most of the controls didn't work (I could only skate forward, and backward), and then I read the manual that, “Not all PS 1 software titles will be compatible with the PS3 system. i.e controls lighting, ect”.(*egon)

To you maybe, not to me, especially when some of the games I used to play, especially in the Smackdown series were better then they are now. As I said, call me when the PS3 has full backwards compatibility, until then, I ain't buying.

my decision to stick with my 360 is due to it's strong online community. I can just click someone's name and be chatting over mic with them in seconds.

I use my PS3 almost exclusively as a dvd / blue ray player.

PSN is a pretty lonely place.

Not to mention the 360 has a stronger video card, so multiplatform games have a higher texture resolution then they do on the PS3.
