The NES GB games.

You can play NEW GHOSTBUSTERS II at a website called www.1980-games.com/us on a Java applet. Might take a while to load, depending on the connection you have, but it's well worth it.

I remember the NES games. It drove me nuts that my favorite movies got turned into video games that were just unplayable stinkers. Thankfully I discovered Ghostbusters II on the Gameboy which pretty much healed those scars (chuckles to himself) .

If you can hunt it down it is a really fun game, it uses the same engine as New GBII with some minor changes like only playing the four GB's, fewer stages, and different music.

*You can also download it outright at this site here:

*EDIT - Here are some “homebrew” Game Genie codes for this game via your emulator of choice, if one was so inclined to use them :

I'm not sure, but I think providing Rom links might be illegal, thats why I always use PMs. It might defer from forum to forum, but yeah, generally tis frowned upon. Not that I'll complain since I use Roms regularly.

*I've done this before on this board a handful of times…If one of the mods deems this “wrong” I'll remove the link, or they of course are free to do so themselves…

I'll however will change the link to the site's homepage, just so there's no further mess about this…Feel free to search for the rom from there-on out…

*Cheers.

There's also EGB on GBC, which is more or less correct, even if it's fugly and very dark.

I played these games before Angry Video Game Nerd.

I think alot of us did, and even then we knew that they were bad, the Nerd was just the only one to make a video about how bad they are.
