Greetings, Ghostheads!

The new Nightsquad team has a story completed, and more are in the works!

The stories are written by “Kingpin,” whom I respect as a fellow writer. As a soon-to-be English teacher, I give a very good review to Kingpin's writings. He's very talented, and I expect to see quality work out of him.

The new Nightsquad includes:

The first of these stories is “Ghostbusters Nightsquad: A shining moment.” It should be up on the GBN fanfic boards very soon.

As some have guessed, this is a crossover to “The Shining.”



Trivia Question #1: The original “The shining” was a film by Stanley Kubrick. In the case “A shining moment,” what other reference to a lesser-known Stanley Kubrick film is made by one of the Nightsquad team?"

HINT: The film is in black and white.

There are two Kubrick films that I know of in black and white:

Lolita
Dr. Strangelove or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

Either one could be it, since Kubrick was not prolific in his films.

I got another question.

I visisted the Nightsquad website recently and it says that two of the original members have died. Ecto Ernie and Shades Macpherson from the other stories. If I might make a suggestion, Kingpin, mayhaps you should do a story about how the old members passed on and how the new ones came about. That would really clear alot of things up.

BTW, Congratulations Dr. Loomis, for your correct answer of “Dr. Strangelove!”

Vincent does an impersonation of him in retaliation for something Adam says that Vincent took offensively.
