There are 142 Episodes if you count the 30min cut version of “Deja Boo” and the 4min Promo Pilot ep. There are also 34 eps of “Slimer!”, 35 if you count “Mouse in the house” twice since it had 2 names.

How many damn episodes are there of The Real Ghostbusters?!?!

I've been collecting vintage cartoons and other crap digital for years now. I have 140 episodes of The Real Ghostbusters in Divx and the episode names matches the Episode Guide on Wikipedia.

However I see on Time Life's site that it includes all “147 Episodes”. Then I saw a review for the set where a guy said it had all 134 Real Ghostbusters episodes, plus the 13 short Slimer ones. If that's the case, then how do I have 140 Real Ghostbuster episodes!?

Anyway, I'd love to get an accurate answer and I imagine the box set is the ultimate source. So without $180 to justify spending on this, I turn you you lucky guys that actually have it.

My cousin came and dropped it off for me to have since he got an official RGB complete dvd set. Pretty sweet though the thing is about 17 dvd's.

Ok, what you're saying is close to what the Wikipedia entry states:

However, Wiki has Deja Boo, so w/ the pilot that would be 141, so there's a 1 episode difference from what you said to the Wiki list. Any idea which one is missing?

Also, if 34 Slimer! eps exist on top of the 141 RGB, then what does the “147” mean from Time Life?

TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting that the retail release of Volume 1 (for those buying the sets in pieces, rather than all at once), has been delayed from Jan to March 31st.

I may not have a Ghostbusters website anymore, I may not spend my time refreshing prontoncharging.com like I use to, and I may not even post here often like I did years ago but I am still a big enough of a fanboy to have ordered this right fast and in a freaking hurry!!!

Finally, finally, FINALLY we have RGB on DVD!!! Not even just on DVD, but in a SPECTACULAR complete series box! This is so great. I love it! It's so well put together as well. The special features and especially the box art suprised me. It's just A+ all around IMO. Hope you are all enjoying it as much as me.

The Wiki article is still missing “Deja Boo.” There were 2 different versions of that episode put out, an hour long and a 30 min long. Both have been made available on the DVD set. - TL did us right!

I placed my order on the 28th. I doubt i'll have it by the end of the year, but about roughly how long did u guys have to wait for it to arive. Was it within a week of order, or roughly a month or so like the site is saying.

I ordered mine the same day as you, The site said backorder but when i called time life to see how long it would be, The guy told me it already shipped! He said the site didnt update so it says backorder but really they all ready have more.

really? i checked mine today and said waiting in the warehouse to ship. Hopefully soon. I figure at the worse, by the 10th of jan, right?
