The Official Real Ghostbusters DVD Q&A Thread

I saw RGB Set 1 at Best Buy yesterday, but I didn't buy it (you're talking too a poor student here). However, I took a look at it, and I'm glad that the first set does indeed have special features. I'm willing to bet that these sets will have the contents of the bonus disc on them, but spread out over each release.

Yes, I want to know too. Because I want to have a meal just like that. I am not kidding.
I always thought it was a cheeseburger.

It almost surely won't have the major special features, like the original pilot.

Well, maybe not the FIRST set, but subsequent sets might feature it. I honestly can't believe that they'd exclude it and other stuff on the individual seasons. Just doesn't seem like good business.

Actually, it kinda does. It promotes the sale of the full set, as its a bonus item.

I believe I read somewhere that the content from the bonus disc would not be included. Like, an official release or something.

I recall something similar to that effect, and that a number of people made mention of the fact that if the fans wanted to be able to view the original promo, they had to buy the complete set.

It's like the DVDs of the new Doctor Who series, the boxset has all the special features but the individual volumes don't have any.

So does the booklet that comes with the individual set 1 match the one that we have in the complete set (just limited to the episodes included) or does it have something that we don't? Just interested.

The individual set comes with a booklet?

Yeah. I saw a copy the other night at Hastings and picked it up just to look at it. Within the shrink-wrap was a booklet on the back side of the case. It appeared to be facing the case and the “back” gave standard information about the series, this set, and how much of the series it covers - like what would be on the normal back of a DVD case. At first I thought they had just stamped that on the back of the steel-book, but then I noticed it was separete.

Mine came with a booklet telling what each disc had, what the episodes where about, and any special features.
