Take Two does indeed have the correct full ending as screencaps were posted on GBfans.

I was sent the audio from the promo and all I can say is I can't wait and you'll be amazed to hear the FULL Real Ghostbusters theme.

Thanks for those AJ. Any more caps from the new DVDs available? (Perhaps some side-by-side comparisons with episodes from the previous releases so we can see how much clean up's been done? I seem to recall Adventures in Slime and Space and They Call Me Mister Slimer were particularly ropey looking before)



Also:

Can anyone confirm if the discs are encoded region 0 as was suggested a while back, or region 1?

and

Was any material used from the “Slimer Won't Do That” documentary? I emailed Andy Mangels about it when the project was first announced and he said they were looking into using it…

Some Questions:

- Like many others I'm wondering how good the video is. The set is advertised as “digitally restored”. Can't really tell from the screencaps. They do look rather clean though.

- Does “The Halloween Door” have the alternate beginning and end credits?

- How does the audio sound?

- Can anyone confirm the apparent audio problem with “Parners in Slime?” Paul Rudoff over at Spook central says the episode sounds very slow. How bad is it?

first thing iwatched was the promo and let me tell you, its AWsome, ive never seen parts like tthe stay puft snatchup, slimer drving the van….OMG i loved it, i watched the entire bonus disk already, tonight starts the episodes, also i love the book this thing comes with.

Unbelieveable! Totally worth the wait. Like everyone else probably - I watched everything (except the extended interviews) on the bonus disc - including the promo 3 times. Loved it! Started with the episodes last night (got through the first 2). Guess I can finally get rid of the 30-something VHS tapes I have of the show when I taped it off TV.

I personally think the video looks pretty good. It's not HD - but it looks a lot better than the Magic Window tape quaility (yeah - I have most of those too). The sound is better as well.

Question: Did anyone else find that disc 1 in each set was loose? It didn't seem like it had moved around or was scratched (because the steelbook cases don't allow for much movement, but when I opened each set, disc 1 was not attached into its spot.
