I agree that the original logo should be used. After almost 20+ years after the first movie, if a third were to come out then just seeing the original logo makes a powerful statement that they're back and better than ever. (*peter)

Damn it to hell! The GB2 logo DID make sense in the movie… they were back, itn was their second begining, the GB2 logo was a publicity stunt that probabley lasted a year tops.
As for the Gb3 logo, it should ONLY be used outside the film, as in the title and promos, it should not be a tacky three finger thing. Personally. Id vote for the original logo, with either the numerals thing or some kind of alteration, like how the GBUK logo is… (obviously not LIKE the GBUK logo, just a similar method, it could be the caution stripes or, the Legend of Ghostbusters haze…)

Just make it with the ghost holding three fingers up with a thumb down, make it classic, classic busters is always good…but thats just everyones opinion, dont listen to majority because the majority doesnt know what they are talkin about…
but then its just the GB2 logo with a nother finger up, i say go with the 3 around the ghost. as for teaser posers and stuff i think they shoud have a silhoette (sp) of the fist logo and have a glowing 3 in the back.

I think that the original logo should stay. I say take the logo from the first movie and put a big flamming 3 in the background or have the logo flamming with the 3. I dunno……just a thought….. (*peter)

you know, I really like the idea of the no-ghost with the roman numeral 3 swirling in to form the traditional no-ghost symbol for a brief nstant then slamming down on him like prison bars. That's just really funny.
I also agree that it should only be used for promos. In the film itself, stick to the original design. Just makes sense, really.

always preferred the GB2 logo to be honest, and i think they should still use the Ecto-1a, but surely 15 years later they would have a new car!?

As many have said before, I prefer the GB2 logo better. It was kinda cool and funky. 
If they ever did GB3, I think the idea of having the no-ghost symbol, but the little guy inside holding up three fingers but in a different pose, is a sure way to go.
